Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka holds off Robbinsdale Armstrong
January 16, 2024: Anoka, MN 55303 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) and the visiting Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN), saw Anoka's basketball squad hold off Robbinsdale Armstrong by a tally of 65-60.
With the victory, Anoka improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Blaine (Blaine, MN) to confront the Bengals in a AAAA Section 7 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Blaine lost 93-86 in their recent league challenge against Andover (Andover, MN)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Robbinsdale Armstrong will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 71-64 non-league win over Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN).
