Wisconsin High School Basketball - Baraboo crushes Poynette
January 16, 2024: Baraboo, WI 53913 Baraboo Thunderbirds (Baraboo, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI), 66-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Baraboo upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Oregon (Oregon, WI) to play the Panthers in a Badger - Large bout on Friday, January 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Oregon won 77-63 in their recent non-league bout against Greenfield (Greenfield, WI)
Next up, the Pumas play the Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI) in a Capitol - North bout, on Thursday, January 18. Poynette will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The L-Cats go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 67-57 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, WI).
