Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), 71-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grove City upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Westland (Galloway, OH) to play the Cougars in a Ohio Capital - Ohio bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Westland lost 76-63 in their recent non-league bout against Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye bout, on Friday, January 19. Central Crossing will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Cruisers come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 64-44 non-league win over Hilliard Darby (Hilliard, OH).
