Ohio High School Basketball - Crestview nips Madison Comprehensive
January 16, 2024: Mansfield, OH 44905 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) and the host Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH), saw Crestview's basketball squad hold off Madison Comprehensive by a tally of 61-56.
With the victory, Crestview improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to South Central (Greenwich, OH) to play the Trojans in a Firelands challenge on Friday, January 19. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. South Central lost 67-45 in their recent league challenge against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH)
Next up, the Rams play the Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal challenge, on Friday, January 19. Madison Comprehensive will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 43-28 league loss to New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH).
