Indiana High School Basketball - Indianapolis Lutheran can't hold off Speedway

The Speedway Sparkplugs basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Indianapolis Lutheran Saints to 60 in the Sparkplugs league victory on Tuesday.

The Sparkplugs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-West Hendricks for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Speedway will battle a Bruins team coming off a 65-55 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 10-3.

The Saints (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers come into the Indiana Crossroads contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Triton Central was nudged by Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN), 51-33, in a non-league contest.
