South Dakota High School Basketball - Little Wound fells Red Cloud
January 16, 2024: Kyle, SD 57752 Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD), 64-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Little Wound upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Crazy Horse won 67-61 in their recent non-league bout against Marty Indian (Marty, SD)
Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Red Cloud will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 54-39 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
