Kentucky High School Basketball - Mason County overwhelms Pendleton County
January 16, 2024: Maysville, KY 41056 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) and the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), saw Mason County's basketball squad wallop Pendleton County by a tally of 88-49.
With the victory, Mason County improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Royals host Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY) to confront the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 9-7.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a District 38 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Pendleton County will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 70-60 non-league loss to Bourbon County (Paris, KY).
