Michigan High School Basketball - New Lothrop tipped by Webberville
January 16, 2024: Webberville, MI 48892 The Webberville Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting New Lothrop Hornets to 56 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bentley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Webberville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-52 league win over Atherton (Burton, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-8.
The Hornets (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Rams enter the Mid-Michigan contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Hill-McCloy was nudged by Chesaning (Chesaning, MI), 58-46, in a league contest.
