Minnesota High School Basketball - Red Lake ripped by Deer River
January 16, 2024: Deer River, MN 56636 The Deer River Warriors basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Red Lake Warriors to 50 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisholm for a A Section 7 contest on Thursday, January 18. Deer River will meet a Bluestreaks team coming off a 59-47 league win over Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN). The Bluestreaks record now stands at 12-4.
The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN). The Mustangs enter the A Section 8 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Kelliher/Northome triumphed over Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN), 73-63, in a league contest.
