Shelton Bulldogs (Shelton, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE), 52-8 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shelton upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Wood River (Wood River, NE) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Wood River lost 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Giltner will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
