Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutton nudges Ravenna
January 16, 2024: Sutton, NE 68979 Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE), 42-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sutton upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE) to clash with the Jeffs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Jeffs go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Fairbury won 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Tri County (DeWitt, NE)
Next up, the Bluejays clash with the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels (Arcadia, NE) in a C2 District 10 bout, on Friday, January 19. Ravenna will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 56-29 league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE).
