New Mexico High School Basketball - Aztec can't hold off Taos
January 16, 2024: Aztec, NM 87410 The Taos Tigers basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Aztec Tigers to 26 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirtland Central for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Taos will battle a Broncos team coming off a 64-23 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 13-0.
The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ). The Fighting Scouts come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
