January 16, 2024: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), 44-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Elks/Elkettes (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record.
The Huskies now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bernalillo for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Hope Christian will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 39-25 non-league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 13-2.
