Florida High School Basketball - Clearwater Central Catholic crushes Shorecrest Prep
January 16, 2024: St. Petersburg, FL 33703 Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders (Clearwater, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Shorecrest Prep Chargers (St. Petersburg, FL), 69-32 in a league bout.
With the win, Clearwater Central Catholic upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Marauders host Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Lakeland Christian won 58-40 in their recent non-league bout against Carrollwood Day (Tampa, FL)
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Manatee Hurricanes (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Shorecrest Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 65-36 league loss to Palmetto (Palmetto, FL).
