Florida High School Basketball - Winter Park can't hold off Evans
January 16, 2024: Winter Park, FL 32792 The Evans Trojans basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Winter Park Wildcats to 41 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colonial for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Evans will battle a Grenadiers team coming off a 69-50 non-league loss to Lake Nona (Orlando, FL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 2-4.
The Wildcats (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee, FL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Tohopekaliga was nudged by Horizon (Winter Garden, FL), 71-44, in a non-league contest.
