January 16, 2024: Pecos, NM 87552 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) and the visiting Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM), saw Pecos's basketball squad wallop Mesa Vista by a tally of 74-39.
With the victory, Pecos improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Del Norte lost 60-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Mesa Vista will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagle come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 51-33 non-league win over Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
