New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho crushes St. Michael's
January 16, 2024: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM), 83-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Roswell won 62-20 in their recent non-league bout against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
Next up, the Horsemen play the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. St. Michael's will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
