Louisiana High School Basketball - Loreauville overwhelms Abbeville
January 16, 2025: Loreauville, LA 70552 The Loreauville Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Abbeville Wildcats to 41 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Iberia for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Loreauville will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 61-29 non-league loss to Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-11.
With the loss, Abbeville falls to 18-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Erath (Erath, LA) to confront the Bobcats in a 3A District 5 game on Friday, January 17. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 4-20. Erath won 51-34 in their recent league game against Kaplan (Kaplan, LA)
