California High School Basketball - Aveson Global Leadership Academy holds off Valley Torah

January 16, 2025: Valley Village, CA 91607

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Aveson Global Leadership Academy Avengers basketball team scored a close 54-50 triumph over the Valley Torah Wolfpack.

The Avengers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Covina (Covina, CA). The Colts go into the non-league contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Covina nipped Charter Oak (Covina, CA), 51-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wolfpack confront the San Diego Jewish Academy Lions (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Valley Torah will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 49-46 non-league win over San Pasqual (Escondido, CA).
