Iowa High School Basketball - Don Bosco routs Belle Plaine
January 16, 2025: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Don Bosco Dons basketball team scored a big 65-29 triumph over the Belle Plaine Plainsmen.
The Dons (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tripoli (Tripoli, IA). The Panthers go into the Iowa Star contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Tripoli was trounced by Janesville (Janesville, IA), 80-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Plainsmen confront the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar contest, on Friday, January 17. Belle Plaine will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 60-56 non-league win over Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA).
