South Dakota High School Basketball - Beresford victorious over West Sioux
January 16, 2025: Beresford, SD 57004 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Beresford Watchdogs basketball team scored a good 70-59 triumph over the West Sioux Falcons.
The Watchdogs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Lac qui Parle Valley topped Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN), 73-65, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA) in a War Eagle contest, on Friday, January 17. West Sioux will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 63-45 league loss to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA).
