The Boise Brave (Boise, ID) basketball edged the visiting Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID), 50-46 in Thursday's league bout.

The Brave now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kuna for a 6A Central Idaho bout on Saturday, January 18. Boise will play a Kavemen team coming off a 52-49 league win over Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID). The Kavemen record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Timberline (Boise, ID) to play the Wolves in a 6A Central Idaho bout on Friday, January 17.
