January 16, 2025: Rapid City, SD 57701 The St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) basketball edged the visiting Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), 53-50 in Thursday's league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Lead-Deadwood for a A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 21. St. Thomas More will play a Golddiggers team coming off a 91-54 non-league loss to Wall (Wall, SD). The Golddiggers record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Custer falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17.
