January 16, 2025: Wheatland, WY 82201 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) and the host Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), observed Gering's basketball team knock off Wheatland by a score of 55-43.
The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Gordon-Rushville was knocked off by Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE), 65-56, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Lander Valley Tigers (Lander, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Wheatland will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WY).
