Colorado High School Basketball - Mountain View knocks off Thornton

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mountain View Mountain Lions basketball team scored a good 71-59 win over the Thornton Trojans.

The Mountain Lions (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Greeley, CO). The Grizzlies come into the 5A/4A Longs Peak contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Northridge was topped by Greeley Central (Greeley, CO), 62-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Peak to Peak Pumas (Lafayette, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Thornton will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Pumas come into the contest with a 10-0 record after their 85-62 league win over Stargate School (Thornton, CO).
