January 16, 2025: Chattanooga, TN 37404 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions (Sewanee, TN), 74-23 in a league match.
With the victory, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Fighting Irish travel to Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Fighting Irish enter the match with a record of 12-4. Knoxville Catholic won 60-48 in their recent league match against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN)
The Mountain Lions now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. St. Andrews-Sewanee will face a Patriots squad coming off a 64-63 league loss to Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.
