Massachusetts High School Basketball - Holyoke victorious over Amherst-Pelham Regional
January 16, 2025: Holyoke, MA 01040 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Holyoke Purple Knights basketball team scored a good 63-47 triumph over the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes.
The Purple Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA). The Beavers go into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Putnam Vo-Tech topped Central (Springfield, MA), 54-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Amherst-Pelham Regional will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 40-35 non-league win over Sabis International (Springfield, MA).
