January 16, 2025: Morgantown, KY 42261 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Edmonson County Wildcats basketball team scored a good 38-26 triumph over the Butler County Bears.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Butler County will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 72-15 non-league loss to Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY).
