Missouri High School Basketball - Archie holds off Clinton
January 16, 2025: Archie, MO 64725 The Archie Whirlwinds basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Clinton Cardinals to 40 in the Whirlwinds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Whirlwinds now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Midway for a Western Missouri game on Friday, January 17. Archie will confront a Vikings team coming off a 61-34 non-league loss to Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Clinton falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO) to confront the Roosters/Chicks in a Missouri River Valley - West game on Tuesday, January 21. The Roosters/Chicks go into the game with a record of 6-5. Pleasant Hill lost 72-53 in their recent non-league game against St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO)
