Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY), 40-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bourbon County advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Colonels travel to Paris (Paris, KY) to meet the Greyhounds in a District 40 match on Saturday, January 18. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 15-1. Paris lost 50-39 in their recent non-league match against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)
