Louisiana High School Basketball - Teurlings Catholic overwhelms Breaux Bridge
January 16, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 The Teurlings Catholic Rebels basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Breaux Bridge Tigers to 36 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Vermilion for a 4A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 21. Teurlings Catholic will confront a Patriots team coming off a 50-16 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, Breaux Bridge falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Tigers host Livonia (Livonia, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a 4A District 5 game on Friday, January 17. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-14. Livonia lost 38-15 in their recent non-league contest against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA)
