Kansas High School Basketball - Caney Valley thwarts Iola
January 16, 2025: Caney, KS 67333 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS) and the visiting Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), observed Caney Valley's basketball team knock off Iola by a score of 48-39.
The Bullpups (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eureka (Eureka, KS). The Tornadoes come into the Tri-Valley challenge with a 5-0 record.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS) in a Pioneer challenge, on Friday, January 17. Iola will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
