The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Central Cobras (Fort Pierce, FL) and the visiting Palm Beach Lakes Rams (West Palm Beach, FL), observed Central's basketball team overcome Palm Beach Lakes by a margin of 50-35.

The Cobras (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Port St. Lucie, FL). The Eagles come into the 7A District 7 challenge with a 11-7 record.

In their next game, the Rams battle the North Broward Prep Eagles (Coconut Creek, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Palm Beach Lakes will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 62-46 non-league loss to Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
