The Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball squad (Cranston, RI), was outscored 41-21 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI)

With the victory, North Smithfield advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Northmen host Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to meet the Clippers in a Division II battle on Monday, January 20. The Clippers enter the battle with a record of 3-8. Cumberland won 53-45 in their recent league battle against Johnston (Johnston, RI)
