January 16, 2025: Sheffield, IA 50475 The West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA), 54-20 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Warhawks now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood-Kensett for a Corn Bowl bout on Tuesday, January 21. West Fork will play a Vikings team coming off a 63-31 league loss to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Dike-New Hartford falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Denver (Denver, IA) to play the Cyclones in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout on Friday, January 17. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Denver won 55-53 in their recent league bout against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
