In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors basketball team scored a good 54-46 win over the East Chicago Central Cardinals.

The Warriors (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bowman Academy (Gary, IN). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) in a Great Lakes contest, on Wednesday, January 22.
