Georgia High School Basketball - East Coweta fells Trinity Christian

January 16, 2025: Sharpsburg, GA 30277

The East Coweta Indians basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Trinity Christian Lions to 55 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Callaway for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. East Coweta will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 54-31 league win over Rutland (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Trinity Christian falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to confront the Knights in a AAA Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Knights go into the game with a record of 6-9. Upson-Lee lost 56-39 in their recent non-league game against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA)
