Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette County knocks off St. Paul Lutheran
January 16, 2025: Higginsville, MO 64037 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) and the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO), observed Lafayette County's basketball team overcome St. Paul Lutheran by a score of 61-51.
The Huskers (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Minutemen come into the Missouri River Valley - East challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Lexington defeated Holden (Holden, MO), 61-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. St. Paul Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 80-30 non-league win over Penney (Hamilton, MO).
