Iowa High School Basketball - Moravia overwhelms New London
January 16, 2025: New London, IA 52645 The Moravia Mohawks basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host New London Tigers to 37 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mohawks now have a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Murray for a Bluegrass game on Friday, January 17. Moravia will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 50-13 league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, New London falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Notre Dame (Burlington, IA) to confront the Nikes in a SEI - West game on Friday, January 17. The Nikes go into the game with a record of 4-9. Notre Dame lost 58-29 in their recent league game against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA)
