New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve triumphant over Mountainair
January 16, 2025: Reserve, NM 87830 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) and the visiting Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM), observed Reserve's basketball team overwhelm Mountainair by a score of 65-37.
The Mountaineers (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Springer trounced Reserve (Reserve, NM), 40-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Lordsburg Mavericks (Lordsburg, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Mountainair will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to Cobre (Bayard, NM).
