The Sandy Creek Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Nebraska Christian Eagles to 52 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Superior for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Sandy Creek will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 81-30 non-league win over Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Nebraska Christian falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Fullerton (Fullerton, NE) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21.
