South Dakota High School Basketball - Pine Ridge sneaks past Tiospaye Topa
January 16, 2025: Pine Ridge, SD 57770 The Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) basketball edged the visiting Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD), 45-44 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Thorpes now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Stephens for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Pine Ridge will play a Eagles team coming off a 61-58 non-league win over Fort Washakie (Fort Washakie, WY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Tiospaye Topa falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to White River (White River, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
