January 16, 2025: San Ramon, CA 94582 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) and the visiting Napa Grizzlies (Napa, CA), observed Dougherty Valley's basketball team overwhelm Napa by a margin of 42-19.
The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Heritage trounced Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA), 43-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Napa will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 32-29 league win over Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA).
