Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Hill-Murray knocks off Simley
January 16, 2025: Maplewood, MN 55109 The Hill-Murray Pioneers ice hockey team scored 18 points and held the visiting Simley Spartans to 0 in the Pioneers league victory on Thursday.
The Pioneers now own a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Rapids for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Hill-Murray will encounter a Thunderhawks team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Superior (Superior, WI). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 8-4.
With the defeat, Simley moves to 8-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Kennedy lost 6-2 in their recent non-league bout against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN)
