Alaska High School Ice Hockey - Palmer knocks off Homer
January 16, 2025: Palmer, AK 99645 The Palmer Moose ice hockey team scored 14 points and held the visiting Homer Mariners to 1 in the Moose league victory on Thursday.
The Moose now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenai Central for a Northern Lights bout on Friday, January 17. Palmer will encounter a Kardinals team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Kardinals record now stands at 9-8.
With the defeat, Homer moves to 1-7 on the season. The Mariners travel to Houston (Big Lake, AK) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Houston won 6-3 in their recent non-league bout against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK)
