January 16, 2025: Summerfield, NC 27358 Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 25-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bethany Community advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Wolves host Millennium (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Lions in a match on Friday, January 17. The Lions enter the match with a record of 0-6. Millennium lost 43-29 in their recent league match against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC)
The Knights now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Gray Stone Day will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.
