New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola defeats Eldorado
January 16, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87111 The Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) basketball were winner over the host Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 70-51 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Cibola will play a Jaguars team coming off a 72-58 non-league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Eldorado falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Manzano lost 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)
