January 16, 2025: Fairfield, NE 68938 The Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE), 47-12 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Superior for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Sandy Creek will play a Wildcats team coming off a 48-29 non-league loss to Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Nebraska Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 5-5.
