Florida High School Basketball - South Miami bested by South Dade
January 16, 2025: Homestead, FL 33030 South Dade Buccaneers (Homestead, FL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting South Miami Cobras (Miami, FL), 15-0 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Dade advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to JC Bermudez Doral (Doral, FL) to meet the Thunder in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 1-4. JC Bermudez Doral lost 53-47 in their recent non-league match against Immaculata-La Salle (Miami, FL)
The Cobras now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen Jesuit for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. South Miami will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 66-61 non-league win over Southridge (Miami, FL). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-4.
