Illinois High School Basketball - Calhoun routs Illinois School for the Deaf
January 17, 2022: Hardin, IL 62047 In Monday's non-league outing, the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers (Jacksonville, IL), by a margin of 74-20.
The Warriors (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Rockets come into the Western Illinois Valley bout with a 15-4 record. In their last bout, Routt Catholic overwhelmed Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL), 48-38, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Tigers play the Barry Western Wildcats (Barry, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Illinois School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 60-36 non-league loss to Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL).
